How to Make an Apple Pie

This week we are rowing How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World by Marjorie Priceman. We row this book every year.

We played the matching game that can be downloaded here.

These are a few of the books we will be reading this week. We are also using lapbook components from several different units at HSS.

I bought 8 different kinds of apples and we had a taste test. After a unanimous vote, Fuji apples are the favorite around here! We also talked about fractions and counted how many seeds were inside.
Next we made apple dumplin's, I read about these over at Candace's blog. You can find the recipe here. Easy and oh so yummy!!!!!!

Noah rolled up the apples in cresents.

Here they are right before we popped them in the oven.

The best part!

These are to die for!
